The aim of spirituality life coaching is to help you identify and achieve personal goals in any area of your life and that takes account of your mind body spirit connection. It takes a holistic approach and recognises that any one area of your life impacts upon another and so addressing your personal areas such as relationships or career can in turn lead to improvement in your health. This type of coaching differs from other approaches in that your starting point is an understanding that we all come from a deeper source that we can access through mindfulness, meditation, faith and belief and from where we can draw out our deepest values.
In spiritual coaching your coach will seek to connect with your inner guidance system through their intuition. As spiritual beliefs are very personal your coach works with you to apply those beliefs as guidance in your own life decisions.
The process may incorporate spiritual paths to achieving your goals, for example goals around improving health might include practising meditation as it is known to have enormous health benefits, or in dealing with grief, learning to forgive through visualisation and affirmations.
Spirituality Coaching may be beneficial if you want a deeper understanding of your life and values, want to increase self-esteem and confidence, wish for increased peace and happiness or build faith around a higher power that directs your life course.
